the fractured and weathered shapes of these rocks caught my eye as we drove out of town. Only after I put the image onto computer did I see the magpie spying back on us from the ramparts of this outcrop.

Thanks for suggesting this one for my book. As a matter of fact I have been printing pics and have this one on my list. But so far I have only written 5 poems and printed 55 images. Alittle catching up is in order.
I know, I'm afraid that my camera is my crutch and it keeps me from writing sometimes.

wow thankyou so much for your great comments. To be truthful I wasnt sure about this shot so your fedback is a real big plus!
I find that the finished pictures stimulate my writing lately and I have received lots of positive feedback which is also quite stimulating! Maybe you should try writing from your images. I find it has to happen when I first go to post them while they are still fresh for me though.
